10 T Full day city tour with Archaeological and Glass and Ceramic Museums, Jewel Museum, Bazaar. Tehran
11 W Flight to Kermanshah. Excursion to Taq-e Bustan (visit Sasanid reliefs), continue to Bisotun (visit reliefs), return to Kermanshah visit Takiyeh Moaven ol Molk and Bazaar. Kermanshah
12 Th Drive via Eslamabad and Pole- Dokhtar (rest of Sasanid bridge) and alongside Karkhe River via Andimeshk to Susa (visit Apadana mound, Museum and Daniel grave), continue for visit of Chogha Zanbil, arrive in Ahwaz. Ahwaz
13 F Drive to Shiraz, en route visit Bishapur with ruins of Sassanid Town and Reliefs in Tange Chowgan, arrive in Shiraz. Lovely parks, great food. Shiraz
14 S Excursion to Persepolis, Naghsh-e Rostam with rock graves and reliefs, after return to Shiraz: stroll in Vakil Bazaar and see Shah Cheragh sanctuary (from outside). Shiraz
15 S Full day city tour: visit Naranjestan Garden, Nasr –olMolk mosque, Saadi- and Hafez Tomb, Ali ebne Hamzeh mosque with mirror tiled interior and Qoran Gate area. Evening dinner in a traditional restaurant. Shiraz
16 M Drive via Maharlu Salt lake to Sarvestan (visit Sasanid Palace), continue via Estahban, Neyriz, Sirjan to Kerman. Kerman
17 T Drive to Rayen. En route visit Mahan with Sufi Mosque incl. small museum and Shahzdeh garden. In Rayen visit ruined fortress. Return to Kerman. Kerman
18 W Half day city tour in Kerman with Ganj Ali Khan Complex: caravanserai, small mosque, bazaar and Bath. Then, drive via Rafsanjan to Yazd, visit Tower of Silence. Yadz
19 Th Half day city tour with Friday and Rokn odDin Mosques, Dowlatabad Garden with wind tower. Mir Chaghmagh complex and Zoroastrian Fire Temple. Strolling in an old part of city in the afternoon. Yadz
20 F Drive to Isfahan via Nain with Jame Mosque and Pirnia House, visit Aba Bafi (weaving textile) in Mohamadieh Village, arrive in Isfahan, In the evening stroll along old bridges. Isfahan
21 S City tour in Isfahan, Chehel Sotun Palace, Naghsh-e-Jahan Square including visit Imam & Sheikh Lotfollah Mosques, Ali Qapu Palace, in the afternoon Bazaar, rest in traditional teahouse. Isfahan
22 S City tour in Isfahan with Friday Mosque and Vank Armenian Museum Church, in the afternoon stop at Khaju Bridge, strolling in an old part of city and shopping. Isfahan
23 M Free at leisure in the morning, after lunch drive to Abyaneh, en route visit Jame Mosque and handicraft workshop in Natanz, then continue to Abyaneh, strolling in this beautiful village and O/N in Abyaneh. Abyaneh
24 T After a delicious breakfast drive toward Kashan and visit Fin Garden, Broujerdi’s house and Agha Bozorg Theological school in Kashan. Go to Qom, stop at Imam Khomeini Mausoleum and continue to Tehran. Have a Farewell Dinner in a traditional restaurant. Tehran
25 W Tour ends. Remain in Iran or fly elsewhere.  

From Tehran to Kermanshah and Persepolis, Yadz, and Isfahan. Archaeological wonders, spectacular mosques, museums, bazaars, mountains and oasis. Good hotels and food.

The cost of $2,645 includes all hotels, full board, internal air, all admits, land transport, tips, English speaking guide, daily refreshments, and your visa. Laundry, any airport tax, and any individual items are not included. Single Supplement $300.

Weather should be clear and sunny, with day temperatures of 65-75 degrees. It will be quite a bit cooler at night.

A deposit of $600 will hold a place. The balance by September 1.

Registration forms can be downloaded from the website or are available from Mekong Tours. Those signing up will be sent information on money, visas, clothing, medical, hotels, etc.
